New Rules in Securing CSC Clearance of No Pending/Pending Administrative Case for State Workers
With the aim of providing “maginhawang pagreretiro” to our retiring civil servants, the Commission issued CSC Resolution No. 1302242 dated Oct. 1, 2013 amending the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 10154 (An Act Requiring All Concerned Government Agencies to Ensure the Early Release of the Retirement Pay, Pensions, Gratuities and Other Benefits of Retiring Government Employees).
On September 6, 2014, the Civil Service Commission will once again hold its annual fun run activity titled R.A.C.E. to Serve Fun Run IV which will serve as a kick-off activity in celebration of the 114th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme: “Tapat na Serbisyo Alay Ko, Dahil Lingkod Bayani Ako”. Since the first conduct of this activity in 2011, it generated more than P3.5 million which is an endowment fund under the Pondong Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program for the benefit of civilian public officials and employees who died or are killed in the performance or pursuit of his/her duties and responsibilities as a civil servant. Last 2013, the Commission, through the said program, awarded the immediate families of Armando B. Bose, Richard T. Balusdan, Sr., Siegfred B. Ngoloban, Rex T. Mang-oy and Virgilio C. Arias (2010 CSC Pagasa Awardee).
This year’s fun run activity will be held in SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The event still consists of 3k, 5k and 10k, male and female categories open to all Filipino citizens. Participants below 18 years old will be allowed to join provided they seek the consent of their parents or guardian. The registration fee is P150.00/runner for all categories inclusive of race bib.
